How to prepare your Dog for Boarding:
Dog Over Breed is equipped to handle dogs of all shapes and sizes. We encourage bringing your dog to daycare before an overnight or extended stay. If your dog is old (8yrs or more), is timid/nervous, or shows any aggressive behavior, daycare is mandatory to reduce their stress and ensure we are the best fit for them. We recommend at least one day of daycare before your dog’s overnight stay, three days of daycare is ideal, to allow your pup to get used to our environment and have a better overall experience. Your dog will become comfortable with our staff and learn that you will be coming back to bring them home. It will also give our staff an opportunity to learn your pup’s personality and play preferences.
Checking in your Dog for Boarding:
We ask that you arrive with your dog before 3 p.m. on the day they begin boarding. Dogs may be dropped off as early as we open. All you need to bring for your dog is their food. We highly encourage you to bring extra food as they will get more hungry than usual due to our stimulations. Any leftovers will be returned to you. You can also bring a towel or blanket to ensure your dog feels at home as it has your scent.
We offer three options for your dog to sleep
Dogs cannot share space
- Perfectly spaced home-style crate (sizes XXL-Great Dane, XL-Husky, L-Corgi) $75/dog/day
- 4ft x 4ft open suite with raised deck with drainage (recommended for young dogs or dogs who are not able to control their bladder) $85/dog/day
- 8ft x 8ft private suite with insulated walls, sound-dampening ceiling panels, and slanted floor to drain any urine or water spillage outside of the room (recommended for sensitive dogs or dogs who do not do well with other dogs) $100/dog/day
Check-out time is 10 am. If picked up later, a daycare fee of $50 will be assessed.

Comfortable and Cozy: Providing a Home Away from Home for Your Medium-Sized Dog
At Dog Over Breed, your dog’s safety and well-being are our first and foremost priority. That’s why we have several safety protocols in place:
- Chemical and urine-resistant (meaning bacteria-free) rubber-like floors also reduce the impact on the pads of the dog’s feet, joints, and hips.
- Climate-controlled rooms with multiple air purifiers to kill bacteria and multiple exhausts to maintain fresh air circulation.
- Separated playrooms depend on your dog’s play style and comfort level.
Playroom 1 allows new dogs to familiarize themselves with our environment and daily routine, small groups (1-5 dogs), or dogs who prefer human interactions.
Playroom 2 is for dogs comfortable with a medium-sized group (5-10 dogs).
Playroom 3 is for dogs who are confident being around large-sized groups (10 or more dogs).
As your dog ages, grows, and develops, it may switch playrooms as its confidence builds and/or play preferences change.
